Our model is trained on millions of European and North American wildlife images. The AI that recognises species doesn't train itself further on your photos — but TrailCamHub does get smarter about each individual camera over time.Expect >95% accuracy on common species like deer, wild boar and fox over time. It's built on proven, conservation-grade models, and on clear shots it's very good — but no automated recognition is perfect. Accuracy depends on the photo: distance, lighting, night shots, motion blur, partial bodies and unusual angles all make mistakes possible, and rarer or look-alike species are harder than common ones. Think of it as a fast, powerful first pass rather than a guarantee — uncertain cases are flagged as needs review so they surface instead of hiding, and you can always confirm or correct a result.

No. You can upload SD-card images manually via our desktop uploader, and cellular cameras can sync automatically.

TrailCamHub works with every trail camera brand that allows sending emails to a custom email address (your personal TrailCamHub email that you receive after creating an account). This can be either byentering your custom TrailCamHub email directly into the camery settings, orsetting a forwarding email in your camera manager software.Reolink, Spypoint, Bushnell, Browning, Moultrie, Stealth Cam, SECACAM, and most cellular and SD-card-based cameras. All images are stored on EU-based, ISO 27001-certified infrastructure. Your captures are encrypted at rest and in transit, and you can export or delete everything anytime.
